TIME TRIALS
2011 SUMMER POINTS SERIES.
The club summer points series was completed on Sunday 25 September with a wet and windy 25. Fastest time was set by Gareth Rees, even though he completed the event on a flat tyre. The results are below and the final results table can be seen here. Overall winner of the series is Dave Connolly with 148 points, and the runner-up is Alan Hodgson with 137.

VINTAGE TANKARD.
The annual 3-way inter-club Vintage Tankard time trial was hosted on Sunday 2nd October by the Ross-on-Wye and District Cycing Club. The result is determined by the total times for the 6 fastest riders in each club giving this result:
Ross time 04:53:33
Forest time 05:14:50
Newport 05:41:08
Congratulations to Ross. Not obvious at first sight, but this was also an excellent result for the Phoenix as it is the first time for several years that we have fielded a full team, 7 entrants in fact. Full results and an event report are on the Ross club website.
Thanks to the Ross club for organising an excellent event - even down to the glorious weather.
